Chinnee Tong is vice president for Service Provider, Greater China and Korea for CommScope. He has accumulated more than 30 years of rich management experience from having served the world's top 500 enterprises in the IT & Telecom industry, forging close partnerships with Chinese telecom operators, OEMs and related government departments.  

Prior to joining CommScope, Chinnee was general manager of Microsoft’s TV business in China; vice president and general manager of China Netcom Strategic Customer Unit, UTStarcom; president for China Region, 3Com CommWorks; vice president and general manager of China Operations, Glenayre Electronics; and director of China Sales and Professional Services at AT&T/Lucent Technologies.  

Before his leadership positions in China, Chinnee was with Bell Labs in New Jersey, US, and worked in a variety of engineering and telecommunication product development roles.  

Chinnee graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York, in 1986 with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York.
